This is the glove for anyone who presses. The integrated wrist wrap extends from the glove and wraps around the joint, bracing it against the extension force that a loaded bar puts through the wrist on bench press, overhead press and front squats.
Padded palm with a built-in adjustable wrist strap, sizes S to XL. One piece of kit instead of two.
Why the wrist needs support under a bar
On any pressing movement the bar sits over the heel of the hand and drives the wrist backwards into extension. The heavier the load, the further it pushes.
That extension is where wrist pain in the gym comes from, and it is cumulative — you rarely injure it in one rep, you just notice one day that pressing hurts. The integrated wrap keeps the wrist stacked in a neutral line with the forearm so the load travels through the bones rather than straining the joint.
Setting the wrap
Put the glove on first, then set the wrist strap with your wrist straight and neutral. Never wrap a bent wrist — you will lock in bad alignment and make the problem worse.
Tension it firm for heavy pressing sets and loosen it between sets. Leaving a wrist wrap tight for a whole session restricts circulation and, over time, does your grip no favours. Tight for the working set, loose the rest of the time.
This or separate pieces?
The integrated glove is simpler and quicker — one item, always together, nothing to forget. It suits most people doing general strength training.
Separate gym gloves plus a standalone wrist support give you more control, since you can wear the support without the glove or tension it more aggressively for a maximal set. For heavy pulling, neither addresses grip failure — that is what lifting straps are for.
