About the Neoprene Gym Gloves

Neoprene gloves are the lightest option in the range. They are more flexible than leather, they breathe better than a padded glove, and they dry fast — which makes them the sensible pick for circuit training, cardio work, group classes and anything where you are moving continuously.

Neoprene construction with a grip palm and elasticated wrist, in sizes XS to XL — the widest size range we stock, including the smallest.

Sizing, including XS

  • Extra Small — approx. 15–17cm hand circumference
  • Small — approx. 17–19cm
  • Medium — approx. 19–21cm
  • Large — approx. 21–23cm
  • Extra Large — approx. 23cm and above

The XS size makes these the practical option for smaller hands, teenagers and anyone who has found standard gym gloves loose and bunchy in the palm. Neoprene stretches, so a snug fit is correct.

Where neoprene works best

Circuit training, HIIT, group fitness classes, kettlebell work, cardio machines and moderate weight training. Anywhere you need hand protection but also need to move fast and grip a variety of implements.

For very heavy barbell work, full leather gloves grip better and last longer. Neoprene trades some grip and durability for flexibility, breathability and fast drying — a good trade for high-volume, lower-load training.

Care

Neoprene's practical advantage is that it washes and dries easily. Rinse them out after training, hand wash in cool water with mild soap when they need it, and hang to dry.

Keep them away from heat. Neoprene degrades in a tumble dryer and in direct sun, becoming brittle and losing its stretch. Add wrist support for pressing movements if you need it.

Common questions

What are neoprene gym gloves best for?

Circuit training, HIIT, group fitness classes, kettlebell work, cardio machines and moderate weight training. They are lighter and more flexible than leather and dry fast, which suits high-volume continuous movement.

Do you have gym gloves for small hands?

Yes. These neoprene gloves come in Extra Small (approximately 15-17cm hand circumference), which is the smallest size in our gym glove range. They suit smaller hands and teenagers.

Are neoprene gloves good for heavy lifting?

They work for moderate loads, but for very heavy barbell work full leather gloves grip better and last longer. Neoprene trades some grip and durability for flexibility and breathability.

How do you clean neoprene gym gloves?

Rinse after training and hand wash in cool water with mild soap when needed, then hang to dry. Keep them out of the tumble dryer and direct sun, as heat makes neoprene brittle and destroys the stretch.
